We are wrapping up the Honey Candles fiscal year that ended June 30th. This is the time of the year that we take $2.00 from every Honey Candles® Peek-a-Bee sold within that year and donate it to research to help save honey bees. In Canada we donate to the Canadian Honey Council. Thank you to everyone who purchased a Peek-a-Bee that helped make this possible!
Are you enjoying the fruits of this falls harvest? Honey bees are important to everyone! They pollinate at least ‚Öì of our food. Life would be pretty boring without cherries and peaches! In 2011 Honey Candles started the Save the Bees program. We skipped a year but the demand was so great we brought it back in 2013. If you would like to support our Save the Bees program you may find a Peek-a-Bee at your favorite store. They make great gifts and everyone loves them. It means you give twice, once to the recipient and again to the honey bees.
There has been a lot of media about how dire the situation is for honey bees and I don’t want to overwhelm you with information you might already have. If however, you want to read more about the blight of the honey bee you can go to our website right here.
If you want to support the Save the Bees program and you can’t find a Honey Candles® Peek-a-Bee Pillar in a store near you they are available through our on-line store! Bee friendly with beeswax Honey Candles®!
