BYOB Dressed and Disguised

BYOB Dressed and Disguised

Mar 08, 2013 By Pat Cattermole

There was a retirement party recently at the home of Honey Candles owners Roy and Leah Honkanen. Leah’s sister and brother in law have retired and it was a chance for family and friends to celebrate this very important time with them. I am sure that many of you know the tradition of dressing the wine bottle but this was new to me. Everyone brought a bottle – dressed. The retirees, Joy and Howard are wine connoisseurs so the challenge to them was to identify what the disguised wines were. They also got to choose the most creative disguise. What a lot of fun!

Pairing wine and beeswax candles are what I know. I hope that you will enjoy the photos of this special event.

I had the good fortune to be hired at Honey Candles in the fall of 2004. Experience managing a small rural printing business and 15 years as an elected public school trustee has been a benefit as Honey Candles moves through the need for flexibility and the demands of rapidly changing natural products marketing. I am the Sales Manager and most likely to be the one answering the phone when you call. Social Media and blogging for Honey Candles has been a recent addition to my list of skills.
