Pure Beeswax Candles for your Patio and Barbeques

Pure Beeswax Candles for your Patio and Barbeques

beeswax candles for outdoorsFor many people it has been a very long winter but slowly the sun has come out and the days are getting longer. This means that patio days are finally upon us and your summer beeswax candles are ready to brighten your next barbeque or patio party! Honey Candles has a variety of hand made pure beeswax candles to suit your outdoor gatherings. Here are some of our favorites!

Citronella tins and votives are perfect natural patio and outdoor candles. Honey Candles® Citronella candles are scented with 100% pure citronella essential oil and as with all Honey Candles contain no artificial scents and are safe for you and your barbeque guests. They give off a gentler citronella scent than synthetic citronella candles typically do, while still providing that crisp lemon aroma that we have all come to associate with summer. Honey Candles® Essentials Kootenay Forest tins are also perfect for the patio if you are like me and live in a more urban area but long for that fresh, natural forest scent! You can browse all of our essential oil candles in our online candle shop. Our beeswax candles are Canadian made.
If the wind is strong and affecting your pure beeswax candle, the patio candle for you may be beeswax tealights burning in a hurricane candle holder. The high glass walls of this kind of candle holder will help to protect the pure beeswax candle from the wind, while still providing the amber glow and honey aroma that Honey Candles are known for. While Honey Candles® Pillars do look lovely in a hurricane candle holder, we don’t recommend them for our pillars as they will hold in heat that may cause the beeswax to spill over. The deep style of a hurricane candle holder may also create a ‘chimney’ effect which will reduce oxygen to the larger pillar flame and cause it to flicker and smoke.
We hope you all are having a great start to your patio season and have many barbeques and warm evenings this summer!
