Take Beeswax Honey Candles on Vacation!

May 09, 2013 By Pat Cattermole

The last couple years I have gone on vacation I have taken some beeswax Honey Candles with me! There are two reasons I suggest you might want to do this too.

  • You will want Honey Candles for yourself to burn!
  • You will want some Honey Candles close at hand when you suddenly want to give someone a gift!

I like to burn Honey Candles when I am travelling. When we stop in a motel I often find the air unfresh or I don’t like the smell of the cleaners they have used. We always travel with our little dog and if we stay in a ‘dog’ room I find they use a little extra cleaner. You will find both these problems can be neutralized by burning a beeswax candle. I usually burn Honey Candles Essentials. It is pure beeswax lightly infused with pure essential oils. Burning a natural beeswax candle does a great job on its own deleting odors. When I burn something like Rosemary Mint in a room it smells great in no time.  Remember to NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED.

They are made in North America, more specifically British Columbia, Canada. On a recent trip we gave our hostess some beeswax Mountain Jade Taper Pairs. We were grateful that she let our little dog stay in the condo while we were gone during the day and we wanted to show our appreciation with a little gift from Canada!

I think the beeswax and color of the Mountain Jade work well with the Navajo décor of the condo where we stayed. What do you think?

Do you have something special that you never leave home without?

I had the good fortune to be hired at Honey Candles in the fall of 2004. Experience managing a small rural printing business and 15 years as an elected public school trustee has been a benefit as Honey Candles moves through the need for flexibility and the demands of rapidly changing natural products marketing. I am the Sales Manager and most likely to be the one answering the phone when you call. Social Media and blogging for Honey Candles has been a recent addition to my list of skills.
