What Are We Grateful For?

What Are We Grateful For?

beeswax pillar candleWe have endured a summer of smoke and forest fires in BC unlike no other time. We have so much to be grateful for as fall rains come and cool the air and dampen parched soil. Although some homes were burned in our province we can be thankful that no lives were lost. As the fall gets in full swing and dark evenings come early, Canadian Thanksgiving approaches this week-end.

Many of us are gathering with our families, feasting and sharing our bountiful harvests. The heat that came this summer encouraged gardens and orchards to outdo themselves and they have graced our tables with ample food including beautiful apples, peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, squashes and carrots.

This week-end has been set aside as a time to experience and show gratitude. However you spend your time, may it bring you joy.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Honey Candles staff! We would love to hear from you, what you are grateful for this year?

I had the good fortune to be hired at Honey Candles in the fall of 2004. Experience managing a small rural printing business and 15 years as an elected public school trustee has been a benefit as Honey Candles moves through the need for flexibility and the demands of rapidly changing natural products marketing. I am the Sales Manager and most likely to be the one answering the phone when you call. Social Media and blogging for Honey Candles has been a recent addition to my list of skills.
